I'm running win7, I'm an admin user, and keybreeze has been running great. But I finally got to playing with macros and need the dummies guide... I create a macro, and its saved in C:\Users\jim\AppData\Roaming\Keybreeze data\macros\bypass.mcr

But how do I invoke it?? It doesnt show in the command list, so I figure i'm missing something very basic..
Thanks.

you got the first part right. The next part is a little different from other systems, but once you get the idea, it's not hard at all.
Like you said, you have already typed in your macro and clicked the save button and saved it in the file you named "bypass").

Now enter add into keybreeze, and in the "keyword text box" put in "bypass" (without quotes (and without any "mcr") ), and in the "target text box" put "macro" (without quotes). And hit the "ok" and that's it! That tells keybreeze that when you enter "bypass", keybreeze should look it up in the macro directory and execute it as a macro.

For an example of doing this with a somewhat complicated macro, see the item in this forum about logging into a website.

As an aside, when I said enter add into keybreeze, and the kepbreeze window comes up, don't click on the "macro" in the left hand column. Do nothing but type "bypass" in the "keyword text window", and type "macro" in the "target text window", and hit the "ok" button.

As I said, this adds the keyword "bypass" to the keybreeze system. So any time you enter bypass to keybreeze, it will look up the file bypass.mcr in the macro directory and it will execute that file as a macro.
